In the spring of 2009 I decided that I wanted to swim the channel. Having been a keen swimmer since I was a young child, and having previously swam long distances, I thought this would be the ultimate challenge, and something to work towards. Having missed the deadlines for 2009, I started training towards 2010, and the rest is history!
